The intersection of business and know-how rests in the cloud. According to the consultants, hydrogen-powered vehicles would be the next HUGE change in our mode of transport. Theoretically it may be extracted from a wide variety of sources. The most typical sources are Water; Pure gasoline (methane); Coal (through coal gasification); and Bio-mass (vegetation corresponding to wooden chips and agricultural waste). The processes for extracting hydrogen from these sources are diverse, predominantly within the case of water. To get hydrogen gasoline out of water, electrolysis is used-that is, electrical energy is used to extract the hydrogen molecules out of the water. From natural gas, a “reforming” course of is used. For fossil fuels or biomass, the substrates are energy-plant fuels themselves, which use them for generating both electric power and hydrogen.
