Vijay Subramanian, content head for Amazon Prime Video India has shared the possibility of bringing in the new offer in the long term. Amazon plans to make everything convenient for its customers, right from entertainment to shopping. “We are finding out ways to innovate, for instance, the latest show Comicstaan has a skill built into Alexa, where users can listen to a joke from a comedian on request,” informed Subramanian.
Amazon Prime, which is said to have 10 million subscribers in India, might possibly generate revenue through advertisements on Prime Video platform. “It’s early to comment but these are some future possibilities,” Subramanian commented on advertisements.
Likewise Amazon may push its secondary screen feature, known as ‘X-Ray’, which provides the details on video content and other background details. “We are completely dedicated towards bringing X-Ray as Amazon wants to give its customers a memorable experience for deeper engagement,” added Subramanian. The features will be added constantly to the X-Ray and it would focus both on content and content creation.
